The following, submitted January 2005, is from the artist.
Nail Nagy has been an artist his entire life. As a child he sat on the floor and drew on paper grocery bags and paper scraps his mother saved for him. He frequently chosen to illustrate a school book or paint a club symbol on the back of a jacket.
Born in 1941 in the East Los Angeles Latino community of El Sereno, Neil came to appreciate the culture and art of Mexico. In later years he traveled extensively in Mexico, absorb (showing 500 of 1608 characters). |
