| A painter of abstract still life and figurative renditions, Reuben Fogelson was born in the borough of Manhattan in New York City on January 31, 1902. He exhibited early with the Salons of America.
Later in his life, he settled in La Jolla, California and continued to paint and exhibited in that area. Fogelson was living in La Jolla at the time of his death on December 1, 1999.
