Ellen Fountain is best known for her "fabricscapes" still lifes that symbolize landscapes. Peopled with toys, collectibles, ribbons and fabrics, these pieces are narrative and often whimsical in nature, addressing everything from politics and art to the environment.
Born and raised in northern Idaho, Ellen Fountain spent her high-school years on Bainbridge Island, Washington and then mig (showing 500 of 2949 characters). |
