| Born in Oakland, California the daughter of artists Mabel Eadon and Manuel Valencia. Ethel was raised in an artist milieu and taught to paint by her parents when quite young. She continued her studies at the California School of Fine Arts, California College of Arts and Crafts, San Jose State College, University of California Extension, and with George Post and Charles Horton. A longtime resident of Fremont, California and the widow of Dr. Eugene Grau, she died on July 26, 1988. (showing 500 of 2333 characters). |
