| From Portland, Oregon, Kevin Burrus studied woodworking at the Oregon College of Art and Craft and, using a lathe to form basic shapes, creates sculpture of mixed-media materials, usually combinations of paper and wood although recently he intermixed dog hair into one of his pieces.
In 2003, Kevin Burrus was a Resident Fello in the Wood Turning Center in Philadelphia.
