The following is from Norma Lynch:

I have an original signed Oil Painting of Motif #1 in Rockport, Mass., painted by Jacob Greenleaf. I watched him painting it; I took pictures in the form of colored slides while he was painting it, and then purchased the painting from him. It just so happened that our boat was docked there and it was in the painting.... It was in September, 1963... I am wondering what the value of this painting might be. It is in the original frame. I remember he had a gallery there and we went there with him and waited while he framed it. I had the privilege of meeting his wife. It seems like Yesterday. The memory of that day is so vivid. I still have all the slides of the progression of the Painting....

The size is 16x20 and he titled it Motif in a foggy day.. The label is still
on the back of the painting. Right where he placed it, a little discolored,
but it is right there. I also have all the slides of the progression of the
painting.
