Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
| Born in Brooklyn, New York on December 2, 1870, Clara was the secretary to Walter Scott Perry, whom she married. She studied art later in life, and was in California during the winter of 1917. While on the West Coast, she painted in Yosemite and at Mt. Rainier.
Her husband Walter Scott Perry was the first director of Fine and Applied Arts at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn.
She died in Boston, Massachusetts on Sept. 28, 1941.
