| Born in London, Ontario, Canada on May 13, 1912. Jordan studied at the ASL in NYC for one year. She moved to Los Angeles after exhibiting at the GGIE. Using transparent and opaque watercolors, she worked in an abstract style to produce flowers, landscapes, and buildings. After 1961 she signed her paintings “Jean Jourdain.” She was the wife of Harold Foote and active in southern California until her death in Pasadena on July 15, 1999. Member: Pasadena Society of Artists. Exh: GGIE, 1940; Arizona State Fair, 1947 (3rd prize); Calif.
