Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert Weaver became a magazine illustrator who inserted philosophical challenges into his works. Publications included Fortune, Life, Look, Playboy, Town and Country and Cosmopolitan.

Weaver studied at the Carnegie Institute in Pittsburgh, the Art Students League in New York and the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice. For more than 35 years, he taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and also was a faculty member at (showing 500 of 768 characters).
