Morton Justi Thiebaud, "Wayne Thiebaud's father", was born in Indiana to Rodolph Lamson Thiebaud and Rebecca Spake Thiebaud. Rodolph Thiebaud was the 8th son of Justi Thiebaud, an early pioneer in Switzerland County,Indiana from the country of Switzerland.
