| Lloyd Harting was known for his western scenes often including cowboys and Indians. He painted winter farm scenes and ranch landscapes as well. Harting was born in Little Falls, Minnesota, in 1901, and attended the University of Minnesota where he first majored in Engineering. Harting was drawn to a career in art though, and soon transferred to the Minneapolis School of Fine Arts. He continued his art education at the Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois and in New York City at the Grand Central (showing 500 of 4610 characters). |
