The ironworks in Brooklyn was surrounded by all night activity—ships loading—barges refueling— ferries tied up at the dock. It was awake 24 hours a day.… In contrast the mountains are quiet except for occasional animal noises. Sometimes Streevers' hounds run foxes all (showing 500 of 26331 characters). |
