Ronald Davis is a true artistic revolutionary and visionary. His often experimental work exemplifies his diverse artistic and academic background.
Davis was born in Santa Monica, California in 1937, but was raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. He started off by studying engineering at the University of Wyoming between 1955 and 1956. By 1959, when he was twenty two,he realized his true calling as a painter and enrolled in the San Francisco Art Institute in 1960.
