| | Born in Nebraska on Oct. 4, 1887, Mary Beth Abbott graduated from the
California College of Arts and Crafts in 1911. She then settled in
Glendale, CA where she taught art in the public schools until retiring
in 1952. Unmarried, she died in Pomona, CA on Aug. 5, 1981. | Source:
