Born in Chicago, IL on Jan. 7, 1913. Loli Vann (a pseudonym) grew up in Chicago and studied at the AIC. After her marriage to artist Oscar Van Young, she moved to southern California about 1940. During the 1940s she specialized in mother and child themes but later diversified her subject matter. She lived in Los Angeles until 1995 and then moved to San Diego where she died on Feb. 6, 1999.
