| Marian Elizabeth Barnett, a painter of Central California coastal landscapes and still life images, was born in Washington, D.C. on June 10, 1913. She painted and exhibited in the middle part of the 20th Century in and around the San Luis Obispo, California area. She lived in the nearby small community of Los Osos. Barnett died in San Luis Obispo on September 3, 1978.
