Emily Goeller's art studies began at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute, followed by study in Paris under André Lhote, La Montagne St Hubert, Paul Beaudoin, and Jean Despujols; and at at the American Beaux Arts, Fontainebleau. Upon returning to her native city, she was a pupil of Armin Hansen and Frank Van Sloun. She was in NYC in 1919; however, most of her career was spent in northern California where, as a resident of Sausalito, she taught for 30 year (showing 500 of 2087 characters). |
