Howard Kearns was born in Springville, Utah on March 17, 1907, and he died in the Ogden,Utah area on July 16, 1947 while on a painting excursion. He studied at the Springville High School; at Brigham Young University under B. F. Larson; at California School of Fine Arts, San Francisco; and at the College of the Pacific.
In spite of his untimely death, he won a niche in Utah's Hall of Fame. He was equally successful in oil and water color. He had a related parallel in mu (showing 500 of 1581 characters). |
