| Born in Oakland, CA on July 15, 1906. During his teens Woodcock spent summers in the Mother Lode area where he began drawing and painting. Following graduation from high school, he studied at the CCAC under Martinez, Nahl, and Logan. He worked as a commercial artist throughout his career with studios in San Francisco and Oakland. In his leisure he painted many watercolors of the San Francisco Bay area, coastals and mountains, and also lectured and demonstrated watercolor techniques to various (showing 500 of 795 characters). |
