Post War California artist, Hamilton Achille Wolf studied at Columbia University, New York, National Academy Design, Art Students' League, and the Academie Colarossi in Paris. Wolf taught at the Los Angeles School of Art & Design and was the head of the Art Department of the University of Washington, Seattle. In 1928 he joined the faculty of the California College of Arts & Crafts.
