| Born in Norfolk, VA on Feb. 16, 1901. Pearce was raised on Puget Sound. A self-taught artist, she was a resident of San Francisco from the 1930s until shortly before her demise in El Dorado County, CA on Oct. 8, 1985. Her married name was Nerger.
