Minnie Kallmeyer (1882-1947)
Minnie Kallmeyer was born in Detroit, Michigan and came to Canada with her family in 1892. She studied under F. McGillivray Knowles and John William Beatty at the Central Ontario School of Art; also in Munich under Walter Thor and under Richard Miller in Paris.
She traveled and painted in Georgian Bay, Ontario, Bai St. Paul in Quebec, Lunenburg in Nova Scotia, the Catskill Mountains, Maine, Massachusetts and in England. (showing 500 of 888 characters). |
