| Eleanor Arnett was born (1895) in Philadelphia, Eleanor Arnett studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Hans Hoffmann School of Art in Munich, and at the Florida West Coast Art Center. She exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy, the Philadelphia Plastic Club, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Society of Four Arts in Palm Beach, Florida. She spent time living and working in Philadelphia and in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
