Jeffery Bernard Camp (born 1923)
Born at Oulton Broad, Suffolk on 17 April 1923, only child of George Bernard Camp, a cabinet maker and antique dealer, and his wife Caroline Flogdell Hase née Denny, who married in 1921. He studied at Lowestoft, Suffolk and Ipswich School of Art and at Edinburgh College of Art 1941-1944, under landscape artist William Gillies. Awarded an Andrew Grant Traveling Scholarship in 1944 and 1945, and a David Murray Bursary for landscape painting in 19 (showing 500 of 1734 characters). |
