Vera Schlezinger Rockline was born in Moscow in 1896. Her mother was French, and her father was Russian. While in Moscow she studied in the studio of I. Machkoff, and she was later a student of Alexandra Exter in Kiev.
In 1919 Rockline exhibited at the Union of Russian Painters under the name Schlesinger, in an exhibition called "Exhibition of Jewish Painters and Sculptors." She also exhibited at the fifth annual national exhibition of "Impressionism and Abstraction." She also designed d (showing 500 of 3261 characters). |
