He was a painter and decoration painter, born August 2nd, 1916 in Metz
(Ec. Fr.). Worked at "L’école des Beaux-Arts" in Paris and in free
Academies, particularly André Lhote’s, which had a determinent
influence on him.
Hilaire obtained many prizes and
rewards: State travel exhibition, 1947. Venice prize, 1949, Astral
prize, 1950; Casa Velasquez prize, 1950; Society Art Amateur prize,
1958.
He participated in numerous exhibition groups, as
autumn art, the Indepe (showing 500 of 1477 characters). |
