| | Born in Iowa on May 18, 1903. Davenport moved to California at a young age. He was educated at the College of the Pacific in Stockton and studied painting with A.D.M. Cooper in San Jose. After several years in Watsonville, he moved north to Lewiston where he remained until his death on Dec. 5, 1984. His rare works include landscapes and portraits. | Source:
