| | Born in Cedar Rapids, IA on March 31, 1874. Krebs was a medical doctor who painted in his leisure, having studied with Jean Mannheim. He settled in Sierra Madre, CA in 1912 and was active in the art colony there in the 1920s. He died in Pasadena on Feb. 12, 1943.
