| Known for his teaching of classical symmetry theories in New York City, Jay Hambidge had his studio in that city excepting for the years 1885 to 1895, when he was a reporter-illustrator for the "Kansas City Star."
He was a student at the Art Students League and of William Merritt Chase. |
