The following biography of Igor V. Babailov was submitted January 2005 by Ann C. Lemire, art collector.
A native of Russia, Igor Babailov has an artistic background that began in his early childhood. Although he painted portraits of friends when he was only four years old, he commenced formal schooling when he was ten at a local preparatory art school. Upon graduation, Babailov was selected in a nationwide competition to attend Moscow's School of Fine Art where he decided to become a clas (showing 500 of 3319 characters). |
