This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Iowa on Oct. 14, 1876. Della was the wife of artist Thomas Bigelow Craig. She was a resident of San Diego in 1901-08 and Oakland in 1909-10. Mrs. Craig died at Stockton (CA) State Hospital on March 4, 1962. A few of her landscapes of the High Sierra and Golden Gate Park are extant. Exh: San Diego AA, 1901-08; Alaska-Yukon Exposition (Seattle), 1909. In: Athenian Nile Club (Oakland).

Born in Iowa, Della Vernon became a painter known for her California landscapes, especially Golden Gate Park in San Francisco and strings of oxen and burros in the High Sierras. She was the wife of artist thomas Bigelow Craig.

Her work is rare but can be found in the Athenian Nile Club in Oakland.
