It was then he began creating Southwest images in oils, acrylics, and in bronze. Zivic is primarily a self taught artist. Today he creates images of the early West. He also creates Southwest landscapes. Zivic's award-winning work hangs in collections around the world. There are works in collections in every state in the union, and in many foreign countries. He paints, creates bronzes images, and creates prints of his works. Although semi retired, he and his wife Carol continue to produce works, and sell out of their studio in the Old Adobe area of Tucson, Arizona.
