Plein-air painter Stephen Datz intended to be a mathematician and
enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University with a major in applied
mathematics. After one year of study he realized he need to be
true to his heart and pursue a career in painting. He went home
to Colorado and enrolled in Colorado State University in the fine art
department.
While at Colorado State he took a camping trip with
his wife-to-be to the Utah desert. After that trip, Datz knew that he
wanted to purs (showing 500 of 930 characters). |
