| | Marine painter. Born in NYC on Nov. 22, 1846. Nicoll was an Eastern painter who was in San Diego in 1896-97. While there, he painted several views of Catalina Island. He died in Norwalk, CT on July 25, 1918. Member: NA. Exh: NAD, 1867-1900; Mechanics' Inst.
