This biography from the Archives of AskART:
| Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Robert Weaver became
a magazine illustrator who inserted philosophical challenges into his
works. Publications included Fortune, Life, Look, Playboy, Town and
Country and Cosmopolitan.
Weaver

more than 35 years, he taught at the School of Visual Arts in New York
City and also was a faculty member at Syracuse University.
In
1977, the School of the Visual Arts Museum gave a retrospective exhibit

Hall of Fame.
