| Born in Fontanet, Indiana, David Blower became known for his oil and watercolor paintings of Pacific coast farm scenes and beach scenes and for cityscapes of Los Angeles. From 1930 to 1960, he also worked as a professional illustrator.
He studied at the Wicker School of Fine Arts in Detroit and in Paris at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere and Academie Colarossi.

| Born in Fontanet, IN on Sept. 18, 1901. Blower studied at Wicker School of Fine Arts in Detroit, and in Paris at Académies Colarossi and Grand Chaumière. He was a resident of Los Angeles from the mid-1930s until his death on Dec. 29, 1976.
