Mary Graves portrait painter The Mary Graves I know about was a talented portrait painter who lived and painted in Chapel Hill North Carolina. At age 2 I sat for my portrait. (she got me to do this by amusing me with a child's tea set). She also painted my father, Edward K. Graham, as a student at the University of North Carolina(circa 1930, and, and other North Carolineans. I still have the paintings (in oil), which are lovely, hanging in my house. She was my great aunt (by marriage). i will try to obtain more information and add to this post in the future.

Mary Graves I would like to add to my previous inquiry by saying that I have an original work of art by Mary Graves, and it is titled.......It Is Written In The Stars. I have often wondered what happened to the artist, where she is, etc. I purchased this piece on the 'sidewalk' in Santa Barbara, Calif. about 10 or 12 years ago.
Thanks again,
Kristine Frost
