Happy Birthday Richard Bernstein! I never knew the man, he passed on two years ago today (Oct. 18th), but he continues to interest me enormously, he has done for a number of years now. As well as an extraordinary artist, he strikes me as a truly sensitive soul and a life-affirming individualist who could smell a good party a mile off. I dearly wish I'd made his acqauintance, I get the distinct impression there was something very, very special about him. Dennis, England
