Winter Plough
My Grandmother Left me a copy of Whinter Plough several years ago. I'm curious to know if aynone has any infomation about. It still has a tag on it that reads... Title Winter Plough, Artist Shepherd, size 20X30 Catalog 7-77-B31, Frame no. 8756 A-C L8499-Im not sure of the last number. A Decolage Original By Specialty art of California. On the Back of the canvas it also has B31 writen on it. Any feed Back would be greatly appriciated.

wise old bull
i have a painting that was handed to me by a elderly lady 25yrs ago,"wise bull" its framed signed and dated 62, and has not been in daylight or removed from frame,the thing is this elderly lady purchased this in the sixties from england, from her -quote- keep this boy one day this man david shepherd will be famous for wildlife paintings-end quote ,it is sealed on the back with wax type paper frame is older style,on close inspection i can see brush strokes and a canvas type material its painted on, how do you tell if its a print ,any help would be helpful

I have a signed Shepherd print title "Pride of Lions" printed in England around 1972. I purchased this at Abercombie in New York in 1973 for $750 framed. It has never been unframed or exposed to direct sunlight.

oak painting
I found your posting while researching my david shepherd painting titeled "majestic oak" at least im pretty sure that is the name as I am at work and have not looked at it for a while. anyway it has a sticker that says david shepherd majestic oak 1935. I cant seem to find anything about it, your posting is as close as I have seen
