Evening Ride
Your paintings are breath-taking. I am not gifted as you by any means, but coming from an era very much like yours, (I'm 74)... EVENING RIDE is so similar to this short poem I wrote... I have to send it.
Come ride with me my beauty; forget your distress and woe.
I’ll carry you to a fantasy land... a place where troubles can't go.
We’ll gallop in the warmth of sunshine, high o’er fleecy clouds,
To a place of comfort and happiness, to shed your worrisome shrouds.

We will flee for carefree moments, before our flight will end,
Then I’ll return you to earthly ways, and things you have to tend.
Just remember... when you’re burdened, I’ll be waiting here once more,
And we will fly away to a fantasy land, on a distant daydream shore.

Don't lose your childhood dreams...

I own three Byerley
original still lifes
from the late 1970's.
The realistic quality
of his work is incredible. I hope to
find more of his paintings.
