My hunny and I cleaned out a shed on our property about a year and a half ago when we discovered a rolled up canvas with a field of sunflowers painted (it's really thick and raised) and signed by C. Benolt, I am having a hard time finding any information on this artist, or what the time frame on this peice might be, or a value. I don't know much about art, if anyone has any info I would surely appreciate it!
Charles R Benolt
I also collect Charles Redmond Benolt Paintings. would appreciate any additional information on the artist. His work is enchanting. I read that he did a lot of work in Florida as well.
I bought a C Benolt from the artist around 1998 in New Zealand. It is raised oil on canvas of tropical reef with dolphins etc. He was South African from what I remember.
sunflowers by redmond
Im trying to find info on a painting I have of sunflowers in a barrel. Its signed by Redmond, no initial or first name.
It seems to be in an original frame but I dont know the history of its origin.
Is there a way I can post a photo of it? Thanks.
I have a collection of about 20 paintings, collected from all around the world (Paris mostly) including flower (in vase), sunflowers, poppies, street scene, eagle, sea scenes. I recently was in paris and asked about him to street art sellers. They said that he (one said his real surname is Bernold(t?)) was art student at paris during 2002- 2008 and left paris now. Please also note that those poeple like to chat but information they gave is suspicious ;)
I would like to know about him also...
C Benolt info
I see many people have asked the possible value of their paintings. I also have a Benolt painting and would like to have more info - but no one seems to have gotten any answers?
He must have been in Paris in the early 2000's, because I have a work of sunflowers with his signature. Maybe a fake but it is a beautiful raised oil painting.
C benolt sea of poppis
I would like more info on a painting I have by c. benolt. Images similar on google call it "sea of poppis". It is textured and I love it!
