I own a bronze sculpture by John Weaver.
It was purchased in 1975. My question is:
Is it John Barney Weaver who is the artist who created this beautiful piece of art?

Sincerely,
Kjell Lee

John Weaver's Art
John's Father "Pop' was one of my art teachers at Butte High in the early 40's. (John) Jack and I worked together briefly at the Montana Historical Society as artists making dioramas. I was always amazed at his incredible ability to cast plaster. His famous "Bullwhacker" in the Helena Mall is a classic work we have grown to love for its beauty and his understanding of the human figure. I think of him often but have lost contact for many years.
