Lorentz M. Kleiser Kafka
I am Lorentz Kleiser's grandson. Currently his autobiography with color pictures of his art is nearing completion. I would welcome information about pieces of his art that are still out there and unlocated. Of particular interest, are the Rip Van Winkle series of tapestries and the mate to the Sunbeam tapestry currently in the Cranbrook Museum. Yes there are prints of Lorentz Kleiser's work that were produced by the family. Thank you for your kind attention. Lorentz
Ms Baldwin Wood
I have 2 paintings signed by Lorentz Kleiser named Ms Baldwin Wood.1 is a lady wearing an old dress the other is wearing paints.Would like to know more about Lorentz.
Response to c.mackay. My father was a weaver for Lorentz Kleiser at the Edgewater Tapestry Looms. I have a stock book photo entitled "The Kill" which I think is your tapestry. I am also in the process of researching other tapestries woven by my father, Michael Sassano.

Lorentz Kleiser Tapestry
I have a wonderful Lorentz Kleiser tapestry. It is initialed LK with the 2 vertial strokes overlapping with an "E" below them. It is almost 8 feet wide and about 5 feet high. It has a hunt theme. There are 2 dogs, 2 men, one with a spear and a bore. The background is brick and the pattern is in sages and blues. It is in pristine condition. Please advise any suggestions as I am a tapestry novice. Thanks. C.
