Harry Bonath - Did he live in Sacramento, CA? I am curator for the Center for Sacramento History and we have a collection of advertising artwork said to have been drawn by Harry. They are primarily pen and ink drawings of clothing and other merchandise and were said to have been advertisments for the Sacramento Bee newspaper. The donor items found the drawings in Harry's father's home at on 16th street in Sacramento when he purchased it from the estate. The donor stated that Harry worked as a part-time artist for Hale's Department Store while he was in high school; graduating in 1924. I am wondering if this is the same Harry Bonath and if you have any other biographical information about him.

Ford Times art Yes, Harry did artwork for Ford Time (maybe the 40s-50s) and some of his other commercial work includes the Seattle World's Fair, Craftsmen Calendars, University of Washington (alumni and football programs), Rainier Beer, many of the Washington State phone books and Ford Treasury of Favorite Recipes from Famous Eating Places (1950). He was of course a fine art painter and a WPA artist as well.
