Edward V Brewer
Ed. Brewer was my mother's uncle. He was for many years an illustrator for Cream of Wheat ads. He was one of the sons of Nicholas (N.R.) Brewer who was a famous oil painter. Nicholas painted the official presidential portraits of many prominent people including Ulysses Grant and Franklin D. Roosevelt. Ed was one of Nicholas' sons. His other sons, Adrian and Rubin were custom frame makers and painters.
