My sister has a painting that is signed by de Cachard 69, I have looked all through the internet and couldn't find the same picture. on the back is a little piece of paper stapled to it that said $20.00 in pencil. She got it from a man that said he bought it in France. She has had it for more than 20 years and it was wraped in a burlap material. Just wondering if anyone knows of this painting and the value?
how can I tell if it original or duplicate on canvas sign by Bouvier de Cachard
Bouivier De Cachard
When my ex husband was a young boy, he had his portait painted by Bouvier De Cachard. This would have been when he lived at Lyme Regis, Dorset.
Regis de Bouvier De Cachard
How can I contact this artist?
I am especially interested in a painting of New York City or something similar (of a city scape).

Bouvier de Cachard
My late husband, Slick Goodlin, bought several large paintings from Mr. de Cachard in Venice early 1960s. I know the two gentlemen met each other there. I would have lots of questions about these paintings which Mr. de Cachard could answer. I believe he lives somewhere in France. May I please have his address so I could write to him. Thank you.

I have a pen and ink picture of London England as seen by the artists ie Buckingham Place, Nelsons Colum, Houses of Parliment, but they are not as seen by you or I would see them, it is as though the artist has taken land marks and included them into the drawing. It is signed twice once in ink dated 1973 and even timed on GMT, and one in pencil in the only part of the picture to have a margin on the right as you look at it, in the left hand corner in pencil it has 2 words the 2nd looks like proof cannot make out the 1st word at this time.
Would like any information on this as it is NOT a print, and possibly what it is worth. It's size is approx 15" - 15" including the marging of about 1".
a pair of paintings
i have a pair of paintings that were from my uncle, he passed so i never got to ask him about them. They look like a street scene, the 2 look almost the same with just a few minor differences. Just wondering what its called and what it may be worth
I knew Regis
Over a two year period I knew, lived and travelled with Regis and his beautiful partner Charlotte. They were fantastic fun to be with. Last I knew they were living in Provence. Regis had a cousin who was also an artist who tried trading on Regis name. I would love to hear from them again.
i knew regis when he lived in lyme regis
hello,he's a crazy man but his heart is in the right place,we spent time togever fighting to save 22 feet of the cobb wall from being remove to bill a new lifeboat station,we didnt stand a chace of winning, the cobb wall was a a1 listed building and to put a new building on it made regis really mad,he protested with huge banners from his roof top flat, shouting at all that was to do with the lifeboat, and this was his down fall, lyme regis is a fishing town and most people either knows or has a member of their family in the life boat, soon regis was not only fighting to save the cobb wall but harf of lyme regis as well,a fight did brake out and i had to stand between a man and regisand his girlfreind,a few days after this he left lyme regis.i would love to know if he's still alive and where he might be living now.i dont have any of his paintings but have watched him paint, i do have a print of one of his propaganda cartoons about the life boat very controversial, any way if any body can tell me if he still with us that would be fantastic, thanks nicola

bouvier de cachard reproduction prints
During the late 60s a Beverly Hills gallery produced a series of high quality reproduction prints some on canvas (Canvasart Art Masterpieces) and some on paper of Bouvier de Cachard paintings with a very successful worldwide distribution including 'Tramontane sur la Gudecca', 'Monmatre', Piazza San Marco', 'Nature Morte aux Chardons'(still life with flowers). The fact that some of the reproductions were printed on canvas often makes people think they have an original painting. Anything glued to board is a print. Several of Regis de Bouvier de Cachard's paintings have been mistakenly attributed to Charles de Cachard/Charles Bouview de Cachard by auction houses. Perhaps someone tried to decipher the handwritten signature Regis often wrote on the back of the canvas and thought it said Charles. I have found no evidence that Charles actually exists!
which de Cachard
I have an original signed by Bouvier de Cachard. I was told a lot of his paintings have what looks like a pair of eyes looking back at you. Which de Cachard do I have?
Bouvier de Cachard painting
I have recently contemplated purchasing a painting signed and dated by Bouvier de Cachard; however, I have determined via internet that there are a couple of individuals with this name?? How can I know if it is 'Charles' or by Regis de Bouvier De Cachard when the signature merely reads "Bouvier De Cachard"??
