I have a painting the size of 35x23. The name LORENZO in red written on the bottom left corner. It has an old shack with a pond in front with trees behind it and mountain and snow on them.I got it at an estate sale and at that time it was 75 years old and I have had it for about 6 years now myself.I would appreciate any information you can tell me about. thank you.

The art I have by LORENZ is called By A Waterfall by Lorenz on the back. On the front in the bottom right hand corner is the signature all in capital letters LORENZ. The signature is in an off white. The size of the painting/print is approximately 24" X 37". It is in an ornate looking frame in a cream with gold. The painting/print is painted in a bluish green tone with some creamy white. Does anyone know anything about this painting/print?

I found a Lorenze painting when I moved my elderly parents. It has a rustic gold landscape with a old cabin and common pine trees with a windmill next to the old cabin. The cabin has a white picket fence on one side. It is dark in nature with strange orange hues also. Signed Lorenz in the lower right hand corner on the 12X16 canvas. Lorenz oil painting?
I have this Lorenz painting, that I inherited from my father, but I'm not sure if it's either a R. Lorenz or P. Lorenz. The only other identifying feature is the word esser( in faint lettering)next to the name of artist. Would anyone have any clue as to who this would be. Painting is, in light blue with white, of cabin beside creek, surrounded by popular trees.

On further examination i have found that mine appears to be a print on some kind of heavy cardboard. I will leave it alone as I'm sure it is a least 40 years old as the paper is quite brittle.

I am in possession of a painting that was sent to the US from Germany in 1954 by my uncle that was in the service. The right hand corner is signed LORENZ. The subject is a barn type building with a counrtyside of farm lands. Does anyone know anything about this particular painting. It has small areas of cracking but overall in great shape.

I received an oil w/ the word "Villanova" written on the painting in a framed piece w/ a gold name plate entitled "Lakeside Sentinel Lorenz". The painting is 48 in. x 24 in.

The painting is kind of dark and dreary, the cottage looks run-down, and you can see the brush strokes and feel the paint used when you run your fingers over it. I also have an Enchanted Vista painting by Lorenz. The painting itself is 24 inches tall by 60 inches wide. It has the brass plate on the frame naming it and Lorenz, and is signed in the lower right.
I suspect it is a reproduction, but if anyone has any info, I'd like to have it :-)

I have an 8 x 10 print by Lorenz- looks like it was printed into a hard canvas-this is what it says on the back-Fine Art Prints by Gellman-"Enchanted Vista" by Lorenz-no.122 size 8 x 10. Now-on the front on the very bottom left hand is 122 B. P. Co. Inc. Mounted in Canada Litho in U S A. It has the brass plate on the bottom of the frame with the lettering and numbers on the back-SH6-L-9064 V5502-01-775. Also, it is signed on the front in black lettering. I would like to know what artist by the last name LORENZ did this painting. I describe it as a western, with an old run down house with a steep roof, with chimmley, pond in front, lots of trees, especially a large one standing at the edge of the pond, most of the trees have white on them and in the background are mountains with snow. This picture measures 35 inches in width and 23 inches in height, this does not include the 3 inch frame. I would appreciate any information that you could send me.

Wordless Farewell
I am searching the whereabouts or information on the above titled painting by Lorenz. It is two cowboys with their horses leaving the site of a grave with a dog standing over it. It would have been painted around 1900 or before and probably measures in the neighborhood of 30 x 50 inches. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I currently have a painting by Richard Lorenz that I am not sure if it is original or not. It does have a copyright in upper left corner. I have not been able to find a photo on the web, of this particular painting. However, it is VERY similar to "Going It Alone", "Sunset on the Prairie" and the "Watering Hole". The subject matter is two horses (1 white and 2 dark) with the dog and cowboy in vest with cowboy in blue shirt and red bandana. They are overlooking a gravesite with a cross. I live in Washington State and am interested in finding out it's authenticity. Can anyone help lead me in the right direction?
