I knew Etienne and Elizabeth
I met him and his Americam wife Elizabeth and his daughter whist on holiday at Ille Tudy.
Spent a lot of time with them and bought two pictures. He named a piture for use and I;d love to have bought it but did not have enough money to spsre. It was named Augustine. I have 'Flutiste'and 'Mandolin'
My mother purchased a painting in the 70's measuring 24"X36" of a boy and a girl with bright red hair wearing blue jackets, green skirt and pants, and black hats. The girl is holding a doll, the boy a violin. It is signed Etienne 1973. Would welcome any information.
Does anyone know anything about Etienne Ret's personal life? If he knew Magritte?
this art appears to be a lithograph 10" by 15" of a girl looking into a mirror. the primary color is brown on a white background. The number is 66/100 and signed in the lower right by the artist.
I purchased a watercolor signed Etienne. It is an image of two girls/women on horseback. It appears to be similar in style as Etienne Ret. Has anyone heard of or seen a reference to this work?

signed and numbered piece
I have acquired a signed and numbered piece by this artist Etienne Ret. Only paid 1.00 for it at a flea market. It is of a woman holding a baby and both have something like a veil on their heads. Can someone tell me what this piece is and where I can go to get more information on it? Thanks
