re Grant Speed Nancy, I worked for Grant years ago and remember when he finished "The Half Breed." This particular piece sold out on the very first day, and has come to be known as a rare piece of Classical Western art. You are lucky to have it. There's a book out on him titled "From Broncs to Bronzes" that might be available from Amazon; if not, try the LDS Art Museum in Salt Lake, I think they still carry the book.

school presentation about my bronzes Through my family, I have acquired 2 bronzes by Grant Speed."First Feel of the Hackamore" and the wax copy of "The Half Breed" I am doing a presentation for my daughters school to help them learn about the art work and the artist. Can you provide any information that may help me? My Father was a western art collector and he is deceased. Thank you!
