Mary Nimmo Moran
I believe Mary and Thomas Moran were married. He apparently obtained more notariety for his oil paintings, but Mary was extremely talented, and I think was recognized for her etchings in particular.

I have two etchings, one by M. M. Moran, Interior of California Forest, (from original sketch by Thomas Moran) and The Half Dome View by Thomas Moran. Can someone tell me about the relationship between M.M. and Thomas?

I have came across an etching from Mary dated 1884. I am loking to find out about it. It doesn't look like any of her work, but goose pond, she was from Scotland and so was my grandfather's family. I am wondering if it was a gift to his family. Any info or chat on it, I would love
